Design
Identity systems,
built to be used
A logo is the start. The work is the system around it: colour, type, photography, templates and the assets a team reaches for every week. These are the brand books behind some of our partnerships.
Design samples
Creative package · Pool care manufacturingSkimliteA third-generation manufacturer, making telescoping poles since 1954, with no unified visual system. We built the identity and every asset a professional brand needs, from the website to the event tent.
Style guide · Eyewear and lifestyleCARVE EyewearFounded in Sydney in 1998 and stocked in more than 30 countries, CARVE had no style guide for asset creation. We wrote the one the brand now works from, and built the templates its channels run on.
Brand book · Fitness and fundraisingCompete for CausesA platform where people set fundraising challenges around their own health goals. The identity had to hold both halves of the idea: the energy of competition and the warmth of giving.
Style guide · Media and stand-up paddlingSupconnectA refresh of the identity of the stand-up paddling publication we have run since 2007: a serif with authority, a deep blue from the water, and a yellow used only for accents.
Style guide · AgricultureAvocado Growers of CaliforniaA mark that pairs California sunshine and palms with the avocado itself, and a system that carries it from the website to the fruit bag.
Brand book · Nonprofit, military supportTroopathonThe identity for Troopathon, from Move America Forward, a Sacramento nonprofit that sends care packages to troops deployed in combat areas.
Proposal · Culture and travelBalboa ParkOur response to the BalboaPark.org redesign RFP started with the brand, not the website: keep the historic logo, add a modern typeface beside it, and widen the palette with warm grays drawn from the museums.
