Privacy policy

What we collect

We collect information in three ways.

• Information you give us. When you use the contact form you send us your name, email address, and optionally your company, website, the topic you want to talk about and a message. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) to run and secure the site. We also use privacy-respecting web analytics to understand which pages are read and how the site performs; this data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
• Information from cookies. We use only the cookies needed to run the site and its analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How we use it

We use the information you give us to reply to you, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to keep a record of our conversation. We use log and analytics data to keep the site working, secure and fast, and to decide what to improve. We do not use your information for any purpose that is incompatible with these.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run this site on our behalf, under contracts that limit what they may do with it:

• Formspree, which receives and forwards contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Vercel, which hosts the site and produces the server logs described above.
• Google Workspace, where our email and the archive of form submissions live.
• Our analytics provider, which processes aggregated usage data.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions and correspondence are kept for as long as we have a relationship with you, and for up to three years after our last contact, so that we can pick a conversation back up. Server logs are kept for a short, rolling period set by our hosting provider. Aggregated analytics carry no personal information and are kept indefinitely.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you these rights in law, along with the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the equivalent rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email info@i9media.com from the address you used with us. We answer within 30 days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted to Formspree and to our mailbox. Access to the tools that hold your information is limited to the people at i9media who need it to reply to you.

Children

The site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them; if you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Case studies and the footer link to partners and social networks. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers i9media.com only.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we say so on this page.
