The situation
Money spent, sales flat
Carve had a global marketing manager in charge of the USA e-commerce and a New York advertising agency in charge of driving sales. A substantial investment was made and sales ran flat on organic traffic, with no lift from advertising.
No one was tasked with managing the US website, and the brand had no style guide for asset creation or consistency at a global level.
What we did
Three moves, in order
- 01
Wrote the brand book and took over the store
A brand book and a global vision for the brand, then 1,200+ website updates in the first year: new products, broken pages fixed, merchandising, menus.
- 02
Rebuilt paid media on attribution
Facebook, Instagram and Google campaigns monitored and adjusted for results, doubling annual ROAS from 1.7x to 3.4x while spending fewer ad dollars overall.
- 03
Opened owned channels
Email rebuilt from a couple of basic automations to nearly 20% of e-commerce sales; an SMS channel from zero to 3% of attributed sales; a 150+ photo US media library and 20+ B2B assets for dealers.
